Not every day your divorce lawyer turns out to be one of your heroes, but Anne Wynne certainly has become that to me. I wanted to write about her after I attended a luncheon thrown by her group, Atticus Circle, and came away impressed that quiet heroism can actually produce results in Texas. But as much as I knew her, I was surprised at how perfectly her life prepared her for civil rights activism. Give it a read and tell me what you think.
